I am an assistant professor of political science at the University of Nebraska Kearney. I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2010, and my bachelors from Emory & Henry College.

My research and teaching focus on religion and politics, history of political theory, American and Scottish political thought, and civic education.

In my spare time, you can find me reading post-apocalyptic novels, cooking, or walking my dog Argos.
